What is Edge?
Edge is a Catholic middle school youth ministry for early adolescents in grades six, seven and eight.  Edge is designed to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs of young adolescents.  We meet on Monday nights from 6-8PM at St. Julie’s Church in the hall.

What’s involved with Edge?
There are three components to the Edge:

  • Edge Nights and a Retreat Day (both are grade specific)
  • Social Activities
  • Service Projects (C.I.A. – Catholics In Action)

The social and recreational activities are designed to create a greater sense of community among our middle school youth and for the kids to have fun and enjoy themselves in a church setting.   While our Service Projects allow them the opportunity to put their faith in action.

Is there Mass before an Edge Night?
There is not a Mass before Edge Nights, but the middle school youth and their families are strongly encouraged to attend Sunday evening Mass at 5pm.  That Mass is specifically geared toward middle and high school age youth.
